Leo was playing high school dances, but wanted more! So in order get more gigs and better gigs we got a booking agent.

I think this is when we decided to change the name to Tongue 'N' Cheek. Wow, really? It sounded good at the time, I guess.

​

Thus, we graduated to sorority and frat parties and that was good. Then we had the great idea to make the jump to playing "the Holiday Inn circuit." That's when this photo was taken, by my brother. That didn't cut it so we had professional photos taken, wearing vests and scarves.

​

We got a lot of shows--so many that I decided to skip going to college in order to continue making $500 a week as a working musician.

​

This band lasted for a little while after we had all graduated from our high school. The saga of the death of Tongue 'N' Cheek is told on the Young Brandos page.

No, none of us are dead yet, but one of us went completely crazy and another has vanished off the face of the earth.

[2023 edit: Shane and Dale are now dead. Shane in a Michigan apartment fire and Dale hit-and-run on a scooter in Florida. Rest in peace, my brothers]
